This week was a lot less eventful than the last (despite the hurricane that came roaring through), but it still had it's fair share of challenges.
See below how week 32 went my first time around and how it's going with this pregnancy!
As promised, I've located the pictures of our first daughter's nursery and put them on here so you can see what I've been talking about for 7 weeks now!
The hanging 'Morgan' sign in the corner was a DIY project that took me a while to get right, but it was relatively inexpensive and I loved the final product! The only supplies needed were ribbon, letters, and hot glue. And patience, that was key!
The chair and crib were purchased for us as gifts from Buy Buy Baby. The side table was a piece we already owned, just painted white to match her other furniture.
The pom poms over here bed were ordered from Oriental Trading Co. and then hung with leftover ribbon from the hanging 'Morgan' sign and little hooks that screwed into the ceiling.
Lastly, the purple paper flag banner was leftover from a baby shower we had just hosted. It came from Party City and was very inexpensive.
As far as my current pregnancy, this week was a lot more 'normal' as far as the pregnancy goes. No intense dips in energy, no nausea. Headaches are still present every morning when I wake up, but a nice cup of coffee fixes that pretty quick.
I've been diligent about taking my iron pill every day along with my regular vitamins. I never want to feel how I did last week EVER again, so I have to keep up this regimen for the next 8 weeks!
The Braxton-Hicks only come when I am active for a while or at the end of a busy day. They are manageable, but even my belly band isn't helping much once I hit a certain point of exhaustion. There was one night this week where I couldn't even stand up straight because my abdomen felt so tight. A warm bath helped get me up again thankfully.
As far as nesting goes, I am having a hard time following through on my purchases for this new baby. We don't need that much (pacifiers, bottle nipples, infant carrier, double stroller, nursing bras & gowns), but when I go to the baby department, I just keep telling myself 'we still have time...I don't need this stuff just yet...I can find it cheaper somewhere else...'
We have less than 2 months people! What am I thinking?! I need to just bite the bullet and buy the dang stuff just in case she decides to come early or I get to a point where I can't go out and shop anymore. Never thought I'd have to convince myself to go shopping...
